The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
It is incredibly easy to let worry, comparison, or a packed schedule rob us of our joy. These daily distractions act like quiet thieves, sneaking into our routines and draining our emotional energy. But we do not have to let them set up camp in our minds and dictate our mood.
Today, take a moment to notice what is draining your spirit and intentionally hand it over to God. Choose to lean into the good things He has placed right in front of you, whether that is enjoying a warm cup of coffee, calling a friend, or simply pausing to breathe. Abundant life is not about having a flawless day, but about experiencing His peace and presence in the middle of an ordinary one.
Dear Lord, thank You for offering me a life that is full and overflowing with Your goodness. Help me to recognize the things that steal my peace today and choose instead to focus on the joy You provide. Amen.
